About us

Built from what one person saw, and refused to look away from.

Beske Children Foundation is a Kwara-based nonprofit dedicated to giving indigent children access to quality education and the everyday support that keeps them there.

Children walking to school along a Kwara road

Our founder kept noticing the same children — trays of beske balanced on their heads — hawking past the school gate during school hours. The numbers were not abstract; they had names, faces, and small bare feet.

The Foundation began as a single act: paying one child's school fees for a term. It grew, quietly, into a community of donors, teachers and parents convinced that no child in Kwara should have to choose between earning a few naira and learning to read.

Today we partner with schools across the state to identify children most at risk of dropping out, cover the full cost of keeping them in class, and walk with their families until graduation.

Our mission

To remove every financial barrier between an indigent child in Kwara and a quality education.

Our vision

A Kwara where the only trays children carry are textbooks, and the only stalls they run are science fair tables.

Our values

Dignity first. Local partnership. Transparent giving. Long-term commitment to every child we enroll.

Walk with us.

Every child we reach is a parent who can breathe, a classroom that stays fuller, a future that opens.
